The Media Arts program incorporates the latest technological tools as it prepares students for careers bridging traditional and new media. Students learn both about visual media and about editorial communication, so that they leave the program prepared to fulfill the multiple functions required by today's demanding media industry.
The program is divided into three tracks: Digital Design, Public Relations and Website Development, with an additional minor available in Graphic Design. Each major course of study culminates in a one-semester internship with a media-related employer, offering students valuable industry experience. The Media Arts program helps prepare for students for a career in digital design, public relations, website development, and graphic design.
