The Elmwood Campus has the distinction of being the first satellite campus for University College, the predecessor to the School of Continuing Studies. The Elmwood Campus first opened its doors to part-time students in 1997 and has been flourishing ever since. We offer approximately 200 classes throughout the year and serve hundreds more students. We have undergone several expansions, the most recent was completed in 2012. The School of Continuing Studies Elmwood Campus comprises the entire first floor of the University-owned property at 800 E. Commerce Rd in the Elmwood area of Jefferson Parish, just a block from the Huey P. Long Bridge. We have ample free parking as well as the Tulane operated shuttle service which provides free transportation between the Uptown and Elmwood Campuses for our students, faculty, and staff. Our campus includes 12 classrooms and five state-of-the-art computer labs, including four PC labs and one Mac lab. We also have two student lounge areas where students can relax, catch up on their studies, or just socialize with fellow students and faculty.
Not all degrees and programs are offered at each campus. Please consult your advisor or program director for details.
